Garden Creek Site

Garden Creek Sites, Hwo1 and Hwo2, were two prehistoric mounds near Canton, NC and were part of the University of North Carolina Cherokee project in the middle 1960s. My time at Garden Creek was my first archaeological field work and one of the most enjoyable experiences of my career.
