Thrushes

Hermit Thrushes winter along Cedar Creek. Swainson’s Thrushes come through during migration in spring and fall.

Both Hermit and Swainson’s Thrushes can be found on the ground or in the lower to mid-levels of tree branches. They are not shy and when flushed often fly only short distance when they alight and sit watching me as I watch them.
